In short, I would say it's an earnest film, it's patriotic and features a good dose of masculinity. The director is Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy, Oblivion).

Bridges is the grizzled, veteran leader of the group and Teller is the new guy with a troubled life.

It stars Josh Brolin and Miles Teller in the main roles and a supporting cast including Jennifer Connelly, Jeff Bridges and a small role for Andie MacDowell. It is based on a true story about a group of 20 wildland firefighters and not only shows us them doing their job, but also gives us an insight into the personal life of some of the characters. I watched the film and wasn't sure if I should post here about it, but since it bombed at the BO ($38m budget, $21m BO) I thought it can't hurt to give it some more exposure.
